Fort Cobb, OK – September 21, 2015 – CKTC Biomedical Instructor Sherry Jackson spent her summer teaching for Project Lead the Way Institutes.

“This summer I was a master teacher for the Human Body Systems curriculum at two of the PLTW institues,” said Jackson. “These training institutes are required for all new teachers to complete before teaching the PLTW curriculum. It is a great experience traveling and meeting both secondary and post-secondary educators across the country.”

Jackon became a Master Teacher for PLTW in 2014. She was one of 400 teachers selected out of 900 applicants to teach at the institutes.

This year she taught one session in Sioux Falls, South Dakato at the Sanford Research Institute and then taught a second session at California State University Bayside in San Francisco.
